Panchgavya (panch = five, gavya = from the cow) is a traditional blend of five products of the cow: dung (gobar), urine (gaumutra), milk, curd (dahi) and ghee. In Ayurveda and Indian ritual this combination is considered purifying and auspicious — and it is the natural base Surbhika uses instead of charcoal.
